I’m a 33 year old mum of a 4 year old boy. My family and I have been back in the UK for 18 months now, after 5 years living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia! We’ve had quite the adventure over the past 5 years, an amazing job opportunity, lots of travel, having a child and buying a new house! I wanted to write a blog to document my experiences (before I forget them!) and also for anyone else thinking of making the leap to go out to Saudi Arabia. I couldn’t find any information when we first moved out there, never mind information on giving birth in Saudi, so hopefully this blog will help someone who is me, 6 years ago!
I’m also going to be documenting my new adventure, moving back to the UK after 5 years living the expat dream!
I’m working as the Headteacher’s PA at a high school and sixth form in Lancashire and I’m about to embark on a school business professional apprenticeship with the SBM partnership (Sept 2018) in order to begin a career in school business management!
